Blue October Detroit Concert reviews
Horrible venue
I hope blue October never goes back to this venue. My husband and I have been to a Blue October concert for the past 10 years I would say. So far, this this the worst venue they have been to. The line to go in was so long, they had three different check points!? And only one person scanning the tickets to go in. Once you pass thru the doors you Can not exit! And they filled that place up till the last sqft. The crow was one the most rude group of people.. please Blue October go back to House of Blues
Blue October - One of the best acts going..
This is the 3rd time I've seen Blue October and I think they get better every time. This was a much different show from last year's. Much more production, lighting, stage theatrics. Justin (singer/writer) is a joy to watch. He feels the music as it's normally very personal and self-biographical. The new album is much more melodic, even kind of dance-oriented, but make no mistake, this band rocks. They have a deep catalog at this point and it is wildly varied. Expect a heartfealt personal story or two, even blatant life admissions. It's all part of Justin pouring his heart into what he's doing. I don't see any band out there anywhere like them. Must see as far as I'm concerned. They do not disappoint.
